A Care Elder’s ministry is to build a relationship with a few people from the congregation by praying for them, encouraging them, being available when joys and concerns arise, contacting them, and living a life of example.

 
What Does a Care Elder Do? Print E-mail

Some Care Elders welcome new members while others carry out their responsibilities by staying in contact with a few families. Some use their gifts of administration by assisting the pastor in organization. Other Care Elders develop small groups of a combination of families that meet together on a regular basis.
